Animal Farm

The place I come from feels like Animal Farm. This novel is meant to inspire me to break free from the confines of my 'farm' and make a meaningful impact in the world.

Mr. Jones of the Manor Farm

Old Major cleared his throat and began to sing.

The Rebellion

The work of teaching and organising the others fell naturally upon the pigs, who were generally recognised as being the cleverest of the animals.

Comrade Napoleon

The mystery of where the milk went to was soon cleared up.

The Battle of the Cowshed

News of the Rebellion had spread across half the county by the time Jones managed to get back to his farm.

The Windmill

The animals listened first to Napoleon, then to Snowball, and could not make up their minds which was right.

The Building of the Windmill

All that year the animals worked like slaves.

The Re-education of Snowball

The animals were shocked beyond measure to learn that even Snowball could be guilty of such an action.

The Sixth Commandment

Three days later there was a terrible hullabaloo.

The Great Purge

Boxer's split hoof was a long time in healing.

The End of the Dream

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
