The Rooster Visits the Jungle Kingdom
"I'm truly impressed," he tells the Lion King. "Everything here seems so well-run and beautiful."
The Lion King straightens up with pride.
"I have my own way of making sure all my subjects keep their wits. Let me show you."
He picks up the phone and makes a call.
Lion King: "Hello?"
(On speaker, the Elephant responds)
Elephant: "Hello?"
Lion King: "Who is the child of your father and your mother, but is not your sister or your brother?"
The Elephant thinks for a moment.
Elephant: "Ah, sure, Your Highness. That's easy—it's me!"
Lion King: "Good job, thank you!" (hangs up)
The Rooster is impressed.
"Thanks, I'll definitely try this back home!"
Back at the Farm, he meets the Turkey.
Rooster: "Hey, I was just wondering... Who is the child of your father and your mother, but is not your sister or your brother?"
The Turkey is caught off guard. Embarrassed, he can't answer.
"Oh... well... sorry, boss, I don't know right now. I'll think about it, okay?"
He runs to the Henhouse and calls an urgent assembly.
"Chicks, listen. The boss asked me this question, but I couldn't find the answer. Who is the child of your father and your mother, but is not your sister or your brother?"
Silence.
"No ideas at all?"
Still silence.
The Turkey heads back, dejected. Then—his phone rings.
Hen (on phone): "Hello, Turkey, I've got your answer! That's easy—it's me!"
Turkey: "Great! Thanks a lot!"
Now confident, he walks up to the Rooster.
"Boss, I've got the answer. That's easy—it's the Hen!"
The Rooster sighs.
"Oh, you dummy... no, it's the Elephant!"
